It's been years since I've last visited Catalina Island, and to my surprise, I actually loved every bit of it! Catalina Island is one of Southern California's best-kept secret - and the best part: it's just an hour boat ride off the coast from Los Angeles. Whether you want to eat, drink, and party on the island or simply relax by the beach and enjoy the amazing weather, Catalina Island has a lot to offer its visitors. You can sunbathe in style at Descanso Beach Club, which sits on a secluded cove and guests can enjoy the ultimate waterfront day-cation in luxury cabanas....or, if you're open to try different experiences, the water activities are among the most popular on the island. From paddle-boarding and renting boats to snorkeling and scuba diving, we took full advantage of our time and loved every second of it. Catalina Island was truly the perfect overnight getaway and a great start to my birthday week! XX.  |
