| Teaser: A Different Perspective of a Waterfall Posted: 02 Oct 2013 02:23 PM PDT Wednesday, 2 October Hella, Iceland I'm sure you're tired of reading about our drab and dreary weather. I certainly am tired of writing about our drab and dreary weather. So, I won't tell you that we had another rainy, foggy, and overall gloomy day ;-) From what I understand, the culprit is a low pressure system in the Atlantic that can't move out because of a high pressure system sitting over Scandinavia. Bummer! We did our best to enjoy today's drive from Skaftafell to Hella … but it's getting harder and harder to do so when the best of the views are hidden behind thick fog. In front of Seljalandfoss there was too much mist to get a decent photo, but on the path behind the waterfall it was another matter entirely. Good thing visitors are allowed to walk behind these falls! |
